da ich der Richtung des Todes geglaubt habe
Überschreiten durch die huddled und häßlichen Wände
dieses ist das Arsenal
bis zu ihrem Raumfenster
gaily durch die Felder tanzten wir
er erklärt von den guten alten Zeiten
von der Sonne noch Sterne
vor er war viele und viel einem Jahr
Nacht war schwarz und drear
unter dusky Lorbeerblatt
es war der Herbst des Jahres
