Most of the buzz I heard surrounding "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" dealt with the prospect of seeing Scarlett Johansson and Penélope Cruz make out under the passionate red light of a dark room. That scene itself isn't worth all the fuss but the movie as a whole certainly is.
